Jürgen Norbert Klopp (German pronunciation:[ˈjʏʁɡn̩ˈklɔp]ⓘ; born 16 June 1967) is a German football executive and former manager and player who most recently managed Premier League club Liverpool.
He is widely regarded as one of the best football managers in the world.[2] Since 1 January 2025, Klopp has been the Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull GmbH.[3]

He was initially deployed as a striker, but was later moved to defence. Upon retiring in 2001, Klopp became the club's manager, and secured Bundesliga promotion in 2004.
